On 13th December 2008, Dr So Yui Chi (Cardiologist) of Healthway Medical presented the “Is your heart healthy?” health talk, held in Tsuen Wan L’ Hotel Nina, organized by Healthway Medical and Bank of Communications. The talk provides information on cardio health and cardiac diseases to over 100 attendants.

Through this event Healthway Medical hopes to raise the public awareness of cardio health and reduce the risk exposure to cardiac diseases.

Dr. Tse Cheuk Wa, specialist in General Surgery presented two Varicose Veins health talks on 3rd October in Healthway Mongkok Clinic and 11th October in Tsuen Wan Town Hall. The health talks raised the public awareness in the possible consequences and provided a good knowlegde on the latest minimal invasive treatments of varicose veins.

Recent studies have shown a trend of cervical cancer development in younger individuals. Cervical cancer is preventable and has high chance of curing if diagnosis and treated during the early stage.
